Sibyll Hoch - LMT, CST
Licensed Massage Therapist, CranioSacral Therapist, Owner/Founder
Sibyll grew up in Switzerland and graduated from the School of Physiotherapy at the University Hospital of Zurich in 1993. After graduating she attended a Professional Training in the Feldenkrais Method® (Awareness Through Movement® ) with Ruthy Alon in Florence, Italy. She worked for several years as a Physical Therapist in hospitals and private clinics and left Switzerland in 1998 to work as a PT with disabled orphan children in a rural hospital in Haiti where she also trained local staff in basics of movement therapy. It was one of the most rewarding experiences of her career. She spent over 2 years there and later moved to Key West, Florida where she became a Licensed Massage Therapist in 2004. Her training and experience in movement therapies set the foundation for a deeper understanding of the causes behind her clients' pain syndromes, and allow her to integrate suggestions for self-help in her treatments that a lot of her clients appreciate and benefit from.
In 2008 she started her training in CranioSacral Therapy at the Upledger Institute in West Palm Beach and earned her CranioSacral Techniques Certification in 2011. CranioSacral Therapy is her passion now and she continues to take classes and deepen her knowledge every year. Sibyll is also a Certified Educator of Infant Massage.
She lives with her husband and their 2 daughters in the Eden Place Neighborhood in Lake Worth since 2007, just a few blocks away from her office. When she is not treating clients or organizing classes, she loves to spend time with her family, swim, walk, do Yoga or take Salsa and Bachata classes.
Sibyll speaks English, German (and Swiss German), Spanish, Haitian Creole, Italian and French - most of them fluently.
