Sibyll Hoch - CST/LMT
Certified CranioSacral Therapist, Owner/Founder
Sibyll has done Bodywork for 25 years and has helped numerous people overcome pain and tension, recover from injury, feel better within themselves and function better in their lives.
She started out as a Physical Therapist, trained at the University Hospital of Zurich, Switzerland. After graduating in 1993, she attended a Professional Training in the Feldenkrais Method®, a learning method that uses gentle movements to increase self-awareness and rediscover more efficient movement and postural patterns. She worked for several years in different Private Clinics and Hospitals in Switzerland.
In 1998 Sibyll left Switzerland and lived in Haiti for 2 years. She worked with disabled and neglected orphan children, helping them advance in their severely delayed development. It confirmed what she already knew: When it comes to healing, less is more. She saw every day how gentle, small steps had the power to re-awaken even a person's long shut down capacity for learning and development.
In 2003 she moved to Florida and became a Licensed Massage Therapist. She obtained her CranioSacral Therapy Certification from the Upledger Institue in 2011. She particularly enjoys working with people who are highly sensitive. As a sensitive person herself, and having been surrounded all her life by sensitive family members and clients, she knows how it feels when people are overwhelmed by their environment and by their lives. She continues to take additional CranioSacral classes on a regular basis and is a teacher assistant for CranioSacral 1 Classes at the Upledger Institute.
Sibyll lives with her husband and their 2 daughters in the Eden Place Neighborhood in Lake Worth since 2007. When she is not treating clients or organizing her business, she loves spending time with her family. She also enjoys swimming, walking, riding her bicycle and doing Yoga. More than anything, she enjoys being outdoors and in nature.
Sibyll speaks English, German, Spanish, Haitian Creole, Italian and French - most of them fluently
